About the event
We are finishing a new trail at Bancroft Eagles Nest Park. Come out and learn about trail building while helping to finish the trail.
Two types of work need to be completed.
Easy, self paced trail finishing using a Lopper and a rake. Cut roots with loppers and rake trail surface. Loppers will extend so you don't break your back bending over. No scheduling required after orientation.
Bench cutting, we will be cutting into a side hill to create a short section of Bench Cut trail. We will supply all the tools required.
Rock armoring, a short section of the trail requires some heavy lifting to maneuver rocks to create a trail surface.
