In the next little while Dave and Derek will be riding around the trails out behind the store. With nearly 500 acres of land, there is a large amount of potential for single track mountain bike trails for novice to expert riders alike.
The goal is to document and ride the existing trails and their surrounding terrain, and to show land features that could become part of what could be the best trail system in North Hastings. This could provide trails to locals, cottagers and visitors, and keep them coming back for more.
Derek has developed a little teaser trailer that will show some of the interesting trials that have taken place. Some events include getting stuck in the mud, hill climbing, and even some trail side maintenance.
